I-SWARM

The first very ambitious goal of this project is to build the smallest (3x3x3mm) swarm robot in the world. Due to their small size, which constrains the abilities of a single robot, lots of such robots would be needed to solve a problem. That’s why the second ambitious goal is to generate the biggest robot swarm, consisting of hundreds of such small robots. The Artificial Life Lab supported this project by researching novel algorithms and strategies which these robots can make use of.
